About
I'm Dvir Samuel, an industrial designer and ceramicist running a ceramics studio in Tel Aviv. I come from traditional techniques: I spent many years working in slip casting, studied wheel throwing, and teach hand-building. In my work, I combine hand sketching, digital modeling and ceramic 3D printing with hand-finishing, glazing and firing. Some of my pieces are made for everyday use, while others explore cultural, historical and environmental themes.
